Mid to high handicappers will enjoy the Callaway Rogue Driver, providing all the forgiveness and distance they might need. It has a noticeably bigger profile than the Callaway Epic Driver. Upon testing we encountered a slight increase in ball speed with less spin. Its inviting head will give you confidence at address. By incorporating Jailbreak Technology it has been taken to a whole new level. The hour glass shaped jail break bars are 25% lighter than the previous Epic model. This weight saving has allowed Callaway engineers to push the weight further back, making this a more forgiving driver. One thing missing from the Rogue driver is the sliding weight that is a characteristic
of the Epic Driver. The OptiFit Hosel stays the same in both the Sub Zero, Rogue and Draw Models.
A new and more forgiving 460cc shape boasts a larger address footprint than Epic, encouraging golfers to relax, cut loose and make a free and fast swing. Rogue employs improved Jailbreak Technology with new, hourglass-shaped titanium bars that are 25% lighter while fulfilling their function to stiffen the crown and sole. Rogue has the largest triaxial carbon crown of any Callaway driver ever. We’ve redistributed that weight into the head’s perimeter to significantly increase MOI and forgiveness, which helps preserve distance and direction on off-center hits. Boeing and Callaway collaborated to develop the Speed Step technology used in past Callaway metal woods. In Rogue, we worked with Boeing to redefine the geometry of the leading edge to improve airflow to promote faster head speed.
