As Xander Schauffele heads to Royal Portrush to defend his Open Championship title, he brings a refined setup rooted in trusted Callaway performance. Xander has made a few subtle upgrades for 2025. Despite a stop-start season due to injury, the two-time Major winner remains one of the most consistent players on tour.

Driver: Callaway Elyte Triple Diamond (10.5°)
Shaft: Mitsubishi Diamana PD 70-TX
The 2025 Callaway Elyte Triple Diamond is known for ultra-low spin and explosive ball speeds over 180mph.
Fairway Wood: Callaway Elyte Triple Diamond HL (16.5°)
Shaft: Mitsubishi Diamana PD 80-TX
He kept the same trusted shaft setup and upgraded only the head for 2025. Xander has also experimented with the Callaway Elyte Mini Driver.

Hybrid: Callaway Apex UW (21°)
Shaft: Mitsubishi Kai’li White 90 TX
A staple in his setup, though at the 2024 Open he swapped it for a utility iron based on conditions.

Irons: Callaway Apex TCB (4–PW)
Shafts: True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X100
Compact, forged, and designed for elite shot-makers like Xander. The Callaway Apex TCB (at the time of writing) are Callaway's most played irons on the PGA tour.
Wedges:
A blend of precision tools from both Callaway and Titleist Vokey. Xander uses a Callaway Opus in the gap wedge and Vokey SM10s for higher-lofted finesse shots.

Putter: Odyssey Toulon Las Vegas CH (Xander Prototype)
Xander’s custom putter isn’t available at retail, but you can get close with the Odyssey Red Milled Seven X. This putter is designed to replicate the one carried by Schauffele and you'd be hard pressed to tell the difference between his putter and the retail equivalent.
Ball: Callaway Chrome Tour Dot
Xander plays the tour-only Chrome Tour Dot, but the retail Chrome Tour is built with the same cutting-edge technology.
